Anita Jawary is a Melbourne artist and writer. ​ As an artist Anita, (Nita) has held 13 solo shows and has appeared in several group and community exhibitions. She is also a guide for the National Gallery of Victoria. ​ As a writer, Anita produced and delivered The Dickensian Challenge where she undertook to write a story a week for community radio and has written over 300 journalistic and academic articles.
