Tami Haaland is the author of three poetry collections, most recently What Does Not Return. She has received a Nicholas Roerich First Book Award, a Governor’s Humanities Award, and a Montana Arts Council Innovation Award. Her work has been featured on The Slowdown, The Writer’s Almanac, Verse Daily, American Life in Poetry and in the Elemental Dialogue series by UK filmmaker Anna Cady. A former Montana Poet Laureate, Haaland is a professor of creative writing and has recently been appointed interim dean of liberal arts and social sciences at Montana State University Billings.
