Shannon McGarvey is a poet, nonfiction writer, and media producer in Austin, Texas. She holds an MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow. Her work has appeared in Footnote: A Literary Journal of History (forthcoming), Points In Case, Anastamos, Temenos, Merge: An Independent Journal of Convergent Ideas, Furnace Review, and the seminal two-hour theatrical production The Women of Ill Repute: Refute.
