Seth Michelson is an award-winning poet, translator, and professor. He has published seventeen collections of original poetry, poetry in translation, and an anthology, as well as numerous essays, articles, and book chapters on poetry, typically with a focus on the intersections of poetry and state violence. Having lived in many amazing places around the world, on four different continents, he currently resides in Virginia, where he teaches the poetry of the hemispheric Americas and where he founded and directs the Center for Poetic Research.
