Harpa Rún

Harpa Rún is a farmer, writer and editor with an MA in comparative literature from the University of Iceland. She has published two books of poetry, along with poems in collections, literary journals and art exhibitions. She worked as a teacher and lecturer but has worked in publishing for the last five years, mostly as a freelance editor. Her first novel will be published in the fall of 2021, along with two new translations, one novel and one play. The poetry book Edda won the Tómas Guðmundsson award in 2019. She lives in Iceland on a farm close to a volcano, where she farms sheep and words.
